Temporary reduction of import tax (II)
In view of the need to reduce costs in productive investment, stimulate the modernization of national industrial parks and increase the country’s service infrastructure, when it comes to buying goods without domestic manufacture, it may be necessary to temporarily reduce the import tax. For this purpose, the importer may use the Ex-Tariff mechanism.
This temporary reduction of the rate can only be granted for Capital Goods and Computer and Telecommunications Goods, as well as their parts, parts and components, without equivalent national production.
For such concessions, exceptions are temporarily created in the NCMs, with their own numbering and with a special description of the intended equipment.
